This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Sleep Unlimited collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://sleepunlimited.co.uk website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Sleep Unlimited.

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. When someone visits www.sleepunlimited.co.uk we use a third party service, Google analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns.  We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site.  this information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone.  We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.  if we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website we will be up front about this.  We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

People who make a complaint to us

When we receive a complaint from a person, we make up a file containing the details of the complaint.  This will normally contain the identify and contact details of the complainant, and anyone else involved.  We will only use this personal information to process the complaint.  it may be necessary to disclose the complainant’s identity when processing the complaint.  if the complainant wishes to remain anonymous, we will respect this, although it may not be possible to handle a complaint on an anonymous basis.  We keep all information relating to a complaint for two years from closure securely, and only those who need to deal with the complaint will have access to this information.

People using Sleep Unlimited Ltd’s services

We offer various services to the public.

We hold information about people who have enquired about or used our services securely.

People will need to send us through personal information to engage with our assessment, treatment and training services, which we will hold securely, and only for the relevant length of time.  It may be necessary to share this information with third parties who are carrying out work for us on a consultancy basis – but these consultants will have signed a confidentiality agreement with Sleep Unlimited Ltd.  We may contact people who have used our services to ask for feedback about the service but will only use this feedback publicly with their consent.  All our employees and consultants follow the HCPC and BPS codes of conduct and hold enhanced DBS certificates which are regularly updated.  We may use information about numbers of people using our services and percentages of service users who have given us positive feedback – but this will be anonymised.

Job applicants

All of the information that you provide during the process will only be used for the purpose of progressing your application, or to fulfil legal or regulatory requirements if necessary.  We will not share any information you provide during the recruitment process with any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside the European Economic Area.  the information the you provide will be held securely by us.  If we make an offer of employment we will ask you for information so that we can carry out pre-employment checks – including proof of your identity, proof of your qualifications, references.  We require our employees to apply for a DBS enhanced certificate due to the nature of the business and our clients.  If you are given a final offer, then we will ask for bank details to process salary payments.  If you are unsuccessful, then we will hold your information for 6 months form the closure of the campaign.
