This month there was the amazing news that the NHS are moving away from sleeping tablets as the first port of call to treat sleep problems. Instead they are recognising the efficacy of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) to treat sleep problems. We have nearly 20 years of experience teaching the importance of treating sleep problems through CBTi. That’s why it is great to hear the NHS are jumping onboard too. The techniques we use are all evidence based and recommended by the National Institute for Health & Care Excellence (NICE).
iSleep Assessments
We offer iSleep Assessments to anyone who is struggling with their sleep. Our iSleep Assessments are all conducted and processed by one of our Clinical Psychologists, who are experts in sleep problems. The head of our iSleep department is the wonderful Dr Zoe Gotts. Dr Gotts specialises in supporting adults with long-term physical health conditions and is involved in developing and evaluating non-pharmacological interventions to improve people’s sleep and overall quality of life.
During the iSleep assessment our assessment form is completed and is analysed by one Sleep Doctors, who write your personalised iSleep Report. The iSleep Report provides you with evidence-based advice to improve your sleep. The report also provides the Sleep Doctor with background information about your sleep problem. This enables them to dive straight into the important discussions in your follow up consultations.
