What has happened this year at Sleep Unlimited? – 2022
We can not believe it is December already, this year has flown over! Probably because we have been so busy this year, attending conferences, selling out our courses and having a constant flow of assessments. This month we are focusing on everything we have achieved this year as a team.
Expanding Our Team
Early this year we expanded our team to include Denise Kelly-Hughes as our Training Co-Ordinator. Denise has been an amazing asset to the team, allowing us to expand our 2-day REST Programme®️ by offering more courses online and in person. As well as expanding the course to include a Part 3, a supervision style session for those who have completed the 2-day course. Our December course is fully booked but we do have our 2023 dates already up on our website, Next Courses – Sleep Unlimited. Due to the already high demand for our 2023 courses, we are considering adding more dates.
We also have a new team member joining us very soon, more information on this in the New Year but we are very excited!
Partnerships & Associations
This year we have expanded our partnerships and associations. Our courses are recognised by the BPS and available on their e-learning platform, https://learn.bps.org.uk/. With the NR Times we are posting blogs monthly to help promote awareness around sleep. Super Wellness are also offering our hour-long training sessions to their wellbeing champions. Recently we have joined the new and improved CBIT app, helping families with children with acquired brain injuries find the support they need to improve their child’s health and wellbeing. Currently our REST Programme®️ is pending IOSH approval so we are hoping to be delivering our training to their members next year. Again, we will be providing more information about this in the new year!
One thing we have loved this year is being able to attend conferences and meet all the lovely people we work with face to face. Below are some pictures of our team attending a variety of conferences. We are already booked up to attend the Health & Wellbeing Conference and the OT Show next year!
With Christmas just around the corner, our offices will be closing on the 21st of December and reopening on the 3rd of January to allow our team to spend time with their families and loved ones over the holidays. We have a lot of exciting news to share with you in January about our plans for 2022. Have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year, from all of us at Sleep Unlimited!
