The REST Programme®  Day Two – Advanced Assessment and Treatment Strategies for People with Insomnia
Participants in this session will be able to recognise the presence and importance of sleep disturbances in their various clients and will be provided with a range of strategies to manage their clients’ sleeping problems more effectively.
This training is only open to those who have completed our one day Foundation course in Sleep Assessment and Management.
The programme includes:
  • A detailed assessment and formulation process
  • Examination of the process of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBTi) and treatment options including a stepped-care CBTi suitable for more complex conditions

  • A day long, online interactive course, facilitated by a Sleep Doctor.
  • Informal, entertaining and thought-provoking training, with clear examples.
  • Workbooks supplied to support attendees with the implementation of learning.

The REST Programme® Open Courses for 2024

These courses have relevance for medical doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, clinical psychologists, neuropsychologists, counsellors, psychotherapists, speech and language therapists, care managers, case managers, psychiatrists and others who are interested in understanding the impact of sleep problems on the patients/clients they work with and how to assess and manage these to improve sleep, fatigue, compliance with other therapies and performance.

Please note that these courses are not ‘train the trainer’ events – Dr Lee and our other trainers are experts in sleep (a process which takes years!) They are designed so that you can incorporate CBTi into your current practice and help your clients (and yourself, friends and family) to achieve better sleep alongside the work that you currently do.

If you have any queries about our courses, then please do contact us using the form at the bottom of this page.
